Water Features in Central Texas

Turn the space beyond your patio into somewhere you want to spend more time. Fountainscapes & Waterfalls designs and builds Aquascape ecosystem ponds, pondless waterfalls, and fountainscapes for select properties in the North Austin, Round Rock, and Temple–Killeen area.

Based in New Ulm, Minnesota. Our Central Texas work consists of scheduled winter travel projects. Your proposal will identify construction costs and applicable travel, hotel, vehicle rental, and equipment-transportation expenses separately.

Limited seasonal availability. Project scope, travel budget, and scheduling are agreed upon before travel arrangements are booked.

Water Features Designed Around Your Central Texas Property

Maybe you want a waterfall beside a covered patio in Round Rock, a fountain grouping for a Georgetown courtyard, or a pond that becomes the focus of a backyard in Temple. The starting point is how you want the space to feel—and where you will actually see and hear the water.

We consider views from the house, seating areas, walking routes, available shade, drainage, and equipment access before choosing the feature's layout. A compact courtyard and an open yard call for different approaches to scale, stone placement, and sound.

Our winter construction offering connects Minnesota-based craftsmanship with select Central Texas projects. We plan each trip around an agreed scope and a realistic installation window.

Aquascape-exclusive installations

Ponds, Waterfalls & Fountainscapes for Central Texas

Choose an ecosystem pond for fish, aquatic plants, and a living landscape; a pondless waterfall for moving water without an open pond; or a fountainscape for a distinctive patio or garden focal point. Lighting and compatible fire-and-water features can complete the setting.

Our core systems, components, and construction methods follow the Aquascape approach. Stone and other landscape materials are selected to suit the design and project logistics.

Designed for the way you spend time outside

Make Water Part of Your Central Texas Outdoor Living Space

A water feature should work from your favorite chair, not just from the edge of the pond. We plan its relationship to covered seating, dining spaces, windows, and garden paths so it becomes part of everyday life.

  • Sun and exposure: assess the site's shade, wind exposure, planting opportunities, and water-level management needs.
  • Stone and surroundings: coordinate the feature with existing masonry, paving, and planting rather than treating it as an isolated addition.
  • Ground conditions: evaluate access, grade, drainage, and excavation conditions before finalizing the construction scope.
  • Water use: plan a recirculating system with sensible splash control and a practical refill strategy. Recirculation does not eliminate water loss or refill needs.
  • Evening enjoyment: position lighting to reveal water and stone from seating areas without overpowering the scene.

How Central Texas Travel Projects Work

Fountainscapes & Waterfalls is based in New Ulm, Minnesota. Central Texas installations are planned destination projects during our winter construction season.

Your proposal will separately identify the applicable travel expenses needed to complete the installation. Depending on the transportation plan and project requirements, these may include:

  • Round-trip transportation between Minnesota and Central Texas.
  • Hotel accommodations during the project.
  • Rental vehicle or work-vehicle expenses.
  • Transportation or delivery of tools and specialized equipment.
  • Additional trips required by the agreed project scope or schedule.

Travel costs are discussed and approved before booking. No travel arrangements will be made until the project scope, travel budget, and installation schedule have been approved. Any later change requiring additional travel expense will be discussed for approval before it is incurred.

When practical, multiple installations may be scheduled during one trip so certain shared travel expenses can be divided among participating clients. Grouped scheduling and savings are not guaranteed.

Construction and travel, clearly separated

Planning Your Central Texas Project Investment

Your construction price reflects the selected feature, dimensions, stone, equipment, lighting, access, excavation conditions, and finishing details. Travel expenses are calculated for the agreed installation plan rather than added as an unexplained flat charge.

During the free phone consultation, we discuss your desired investment range and whether the proposed scope makes sense as a travel project. The written proposal identifies construction and travel costs before you authorize the work.
